ACS Manufacturing is strengthening its presence in Davis County with a major expansion that will bring 223 new high-paying jobs and a $31.5 million investment to the region over the next decade. The company’s growth is supported by a post-performance tax incentive from the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity through the state’s Economic Development Tax Increment Financing (EDTIF) program, highlighting Utah’s competitive business climate and commitment to advanced manufacturing.
Strategic Expansion in a Critical Sector
ACS Manufacturing specializes in producing structural enclosures and support systems for mission-critical backup power infrastructure used in data centers, hospitals, utility campuses, and other essential facilities. The expansion will enhance the company’s operational capacity in Northern Utah, serving both regional and national markets while strengthening local supply chain capabilities.
“ACS Manufacturing’s expansion promises significant economic impact for Davis County and the state of Utah,” said Chris Roybal, Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity. “This project brings hundreds of jobs, large-scale investment, and reaffirms Northern Utah’s ability to attract and grow advanced manufacturing employers. We’re proud to support initiatives that create opportunity and strengthen local communities.”
Economic and Community Impact
ACS Manufacturing’s investment is expected to generate more than $120 million in wages over the next decade and contribute an estimated $8.3 million in new state tax revenue — underscoring the long-term benefit of the project for the regional and state economy.
This expansion adds to Northern Utah’s growing track record of attracting advanced manufacturing and technology-linked investments, demonstrating the area’s appeal to companies seeking strategic locations with access to skilled labor, transportation networks, and a supportive business environment.
